D20 Culture and Warner Bros. present a landmark project: Foes of Middle-earth, a brand-new board game licensed from The Lord of the Rings films.

In this cooperative cinematic game, you and your friends take on the roles of legendary heroes like Frodo, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli to face the greatest dangers of Arda.

Players will embark on a dungeon crawler rich in strategy, cooperation and immersion, divided into three intense phases: exploration, mini-boss challenges, and a thrilling final boss battle.

Premium Miniatures

FoME comes with a 8.3 inches tall painted Balrog figurine plus four miniatures of the heroes Frodo, Gimli, Aragorn, and Legolas. Also an army of enemies: a Nazgûl Black Rider, 4 Orcs, 4 Wargs, 4 Uruks and 4 Goblins — totaling 22 incredible miniatures.

The game also features a huge buildable board (38.5"x27.6 inches or 98x70 cm) with 25 tiles, richly illustrated with the regions of Middle-Earth. Double layered dashboards for each hero and the Balrog and over 200 cards including menaces, events, skills, quests, items, and more, each one with its own unique art. Meeples, 16 dice, tokens and coins totaling around 500 components.

All of the game’s visual elements were hand-crafted. It’s art with soul—made with pencil, paper, and a lot of passion.
